It’s not often that wraps are drawn with Crayons. Pictured below is a Fiat 500 wrap we did recently for the Crayola Corporation and Brown Daub Kia. This project was the fruition of a contest Crayola held where children had an opportunity to design this vehicle wrap through a national contest. Each contestant created the artwork on a paper outline of the cart, coloring in the sides of the vehicle. Our lead designer, Nikki Humenik, then took a high resolution scan of the winning artwork and did some digital magic in Adobe photoshop so that the small drawing could be blown up to the size of the vehicle. From there, the wrap was printed on our HP Latex printers using premium 3M IJ180Cv3 films with 3M 8518 gloss protective overlaminate. Our 3M UASG/PDAA Master certified installation team then applied the wrap with minimal seams for a clean show vehicle finish. The clarity on the finished product is stunning with razor crisp crayon strokes throughout the installation.
This project even made the local newscast on Channel 69 news. Unfortunately, they called it a “paint job.” We’ll be sure to reach out to them regarding the next big thing in advertising:)
