Yes that is a ROCKET at IDWraps. And yes wraps are not juct for cars and trucks! We’re excited to partner with the Lehigh University Aerospace Engineering dept and St Lukes as they compete in the IREC global rocket competition in Midland Texas this June. This project is being mentored by former NASA astronaut Terry Hart. This rocket was wrapped with premium 3M IJ180Cv3 cast vinyl and 3M 8518 gloss protective overlaminate. Extra care was taken with material overlaps, keeping in mind that this projectile travels at speeds near mach 1. The forces at those speeds are a good testament to the resilience and durability of our 3M wrap films.
