This gutter company wrap was recently completed by our 3M certified installation team. The folks at Brother’s Gutters elected to utilize a half wrap strategy on this brand new Honda Civic. Partial wraps are often a good choice when the budget is not available for a full wrap. If you are able to achieve 80% advertising effectiveness at half the cost; that may present a tremendous value to many businesses. Oftentimes, the IDWraps design team creates high impact graphics which are focused on the “billboard” surfaces of the vehicle. These areas are often the most economical to wrap, on a square foot basis. One example of a high cost, low impact surface to wrap is a front bumper. Due to their curvy nature, bumpers can have a relatively high labor cost when compared to flat surfaces such as hoods, and doors, etc. The picture below exhibits a blue wrap on a white car. The highly visible door surfaces were utilized for the message. Continuity of the graphic is achieved with a wrap around behind the vehicle. We also kept in line with the body lines of this sporty vehicle with a sloped break point which transitions nicely to the white finish on the vehicle. It is important to the IDWraps team that partial applications do not look out of place on the vehicle or look like a big bumper sticker. Graphics must be streamlined and faithful to the body lines. Not to be just another gutter company wrap, this design also features ghosting of the logo icons in the background. This strategy creates an interesting image when viewed up close, but doesn’t weaken the flow of the messaging. The ghosting or “watermark” trend is one we’ve been leveraging often lately.
