Wraps for local charities and non-profit organizations are always favorites for the IDWraps team, and the full wrap we did for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) is no exception! We’ve had the pleasure of doing wraps for PBCC for over 10 years now. Founded in 1993, PBCC has donated over $4 MILLION dollars to breast cancer research, right here in Pennsylvania. They also sponsor various campaigns to bring awareness to things like the importance of early detection. Additionally, they create a support system for newly diagnosed patients by connecting them with survivors, and providing care packages.
About PBCC
Beyond providing support for research and patients, PBCC actively pushes for legislation that support breast cancer patients. In July, Governor Tom Wolf signed Act 52. The law “requires insurers to cover breast MRIs and ultrasounds for women with very dense breasts and other high-risk factors for breast cancer”. You can read their full press release on SB 595 becoming Act 52 here.
Pink Ribbon Treatment
This time around, we had the pleasure of wrapping a brand new 2021 Volkswagen Atlas that was donated to PBCC! Obviously, we HAD to give it the ‘pink ribbon’ treatment! Our designer Charleen created a beautiful wrap with an impossible-to-ignore hot pink to baby pink gradient. She incorporated plenty of sparkle effects to really make the wrap pop!
PBCC opted for a FULL coverage wrap on their black Atlas, which means we wrapped the roof and added view through film on the rear side windows. We carried their logos to the rear of the vehicle by adding their logo in cut vinyl. This is a great way to add branding to the back of a vehicle without sacrificing visibility. Charleen also incorporated some of their taglines like “Finding a cure now…so our daughters don’t have to”, which adds a personal touch to the wrap.
